Drop it like a squat!

So once upon a time I had a free HIIT trainer who was awesome! Then I decided to be lazy and eat whatever (Reese's eggs to be specific) and I gained a lot of weight back (20 lbs to be specific). So I am in the midst of setting back into a routine and I started with a 30-day squat challenge:

On that same day I looked in the mirror in a sleeveless dress and realized that I probably scare small children with my giant flabby arms, so I made it into a 30-day squat, push-up, and crunch challenge!

As of day 13, I am on-track and I have also followed a relatively clean eating plan during this time as well. For me that is a mixture of Paleo and low-carb (so sometimes I sneak in some dairy and/or legumes).
To be honest at this point I could write a Paleo cookbook, I just couldn't include an author photo or the hypocrisy would be discovered! Right now my favorites are:
Peppers and cauliflower with homemade ranch
Dark chocolate 'fat bomb' (this is an awful name for a wonderful treat!)
Sweet potato french fries
Garlic lemon pepper zoodles
All of these recipes are modifications on the ones I found in the Paleo cookbook library in my kitchen (no joke - don't waste your time on Amazon, just come use my collection)!
Why does any of this matter? Because I am determined to be an assistant principal that appears to have climbed the ladder in 10 years, rather than 15! And I don't want to scare the small children!!
