The Agony and Ectasy of Traveling with Kids!!

So being a teacher means I have the summer off (in theory anyway because I also teach online) and we can travel. This is great because the kids get to see new places and as a family we actually agree on activities we enjoy!
Right now the car is quiet because we have fully charged devices with new games and movies downloaded last night. Any bets on how long this will last???
We are on the way to Omaha, via St. Louis (checking out a Cards game), so the plan is to make it to Paducah, KY tonight. Why Paducah you ask, because Jimmy liked the name of the city! 😂 Yet another reason I love the man! However, every super small town we pass he asks if I want to move here, so there is a moment where I wonder he has met me yet!!! I think Dville is as small town as I can EVER handle! Also, he just tried to change a Whitney Houston song that I was KILLING! 😜
So I will use the relative silence (after Whitney) to read about the thrilling topics of industry and development in less developed countries (yay online teaching). However, here is the first place we stopped, an exotic location known as Canton, GA (a whole 30 minutes from our house).
